This Professional version of the Nexus Remote app is a paid app that works with all Nexus Audio Multi Room Audio Control Systems. For the C816 or C612 devices you can use the older "Nexus Remote C816 C612" app for free.
The Nexus Technology app allows you to use an iPhone®, iPod touch® or iPad® as an interactive remote for the Nexus Multi Room Audio Control System, as well as enables any future IP based product integration.
The Nexus Audio app is designed to allow for a variety of system enhancements and home-automation integrations. With the touch of a virtual button you can control zones, select sources, control components, view metadata from iPods connected via Nexus iPod Docks and access all of your music from anywhere in your house. The system allows for the simultaneous use of an unlimited number of Wi-Fi enabled Apple touch compatible devices, the device range is only limited by the range of the existing Wi-Fi network in the home.
